Welcome to MW LITERACY, your place for relevant and engaging resources to support young learners on their journey of literacy development. I’m a New York City native currently living in coastal New England with my husband and our two young children. I hold a B.A. in behavioral science with a minor in English, and a master’s in Childhood Education. I’ve also completed training courses with the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project Summer Institute. My professional positions have included classroom teacher, tutor, and kindergarten admissions evaluator. I have worked with students in preschool all the way through elementary school. MW LITERACY was born from a dream to merge my passions for childhood development, literacy education, writing and creative expression, curriculum development, and the ability to spend more time at home with my family.

When I’m not working, I can often be found spending time outside with my kids. I love everything fall, farm to table restaurants, snowshoeing, and maximizing my organization and time management skills to live, balance, and enjoy this busy working mom life.
